FISH OIL: HOW IS IT BENEFICIAL FOR YOUR LIVER HEALTH?

Fish oil, as the name implies, is the oil extracted from fish tissue. Fish oil is sourced from fatty fish such as herring, tuna, anchovies, and mackerel. Fish oil contains omega three fatty acids in the form of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Fish oil can be taken in the form of oil and capsules.

Inflammation and immunity- Fish oil supplements control inflammation, especially long-term inflammation. Thereby it saves you from harmful, chronic diseases. By controlling inflammation fish oil decreases diabetes and heart diseases. It also boosts immunity thereby preventing frequent infections, diseases, flu, etc.

OMEGA-3S AND FISH OIL FOR FATTY LIVER

ALP is present in people with NAFLD and people with stage 1 and stage 2 liver fibrosis. Fish oil improves red blood cells thereby reducing liver fibrosis and ALP levels.
